Principle of the test :
The tests consists in measuring, according to time,
temperatures and under loads given, the depression of
a punch of section defined in a test-tube of the product
submitted for testing.
This depression expressed in mm depends :
- Duration
of test.
- Load
applied.
- Temperature to which of the test carries out.
The
values of the skeletal latter are selected in function
:
- Use for which it is planned.
- Environment in which it will be used.
The
